What is this all about anyway?

Some of you who may have just stumbled upon this or lurkers who I haven't talked to in a while might be wondering what this is all about. I have a Fulbright grant to teaching English in Bosnia-Herzegovina. I'll be teaching at the University of Sarajevo and hopefully working on continuing my research about youth involvement in post-conflict reconciliation. I also would like to get an internship or volunteer at some kind of community center or after school program. So, those are the official plans, as far as any further details, we're out of luck for a few more days.

Tomorrow I fly to Munich and then to Sarajevo where a staff member at the U.S. embassy will pick me up, take me to the hostel, and then to the embassy for orientation and briefing. I had orientation in D.C. this summer but this will be more specific and allow me to meet the staff at the embassy there. After that, I'll be apartment hunting and figuring out how to live life in Sarajevo!
